Escort Cards & Card Box

I bought a bunch of old skeleton keys off of Ebay, and each one will be tied with a ribbon to a tag with names on the front and table numbers on the back. Kind of reminiscent of old hotel keys or something...
The cards were hung on a old door that I found at a yard sale. I added a mail slot onto the door (also found at a yard sale), and attached a basket onto the back to act as our "card box".
The final product:

Chair Covers & Sashes

Picture
I thought the price of chair cover & sash rentals was ridiculous. But the blue folding chairs at my venue just don't do it for me. So I  bought chair covers online (it's basically the same price as renting, plus I can sell them and get money back!). The organza sashes would have been close to $1 a piece to buy, so I went to the fabric outlet and bought some clearance grosgrain ribbon instead. . Half were chocolate and half were green. Not too bad for $10 for 80 sashes!!

Centerpieces

The main centerpiece was a jar filled with birch branches. I used small gravel (from the fish department at the pet store!) to fill the bottom and weigh down the jars. I hand-made wire hangers for flower pot style votive holders to hang on the branches. The large jar was surrounded by smaller jars (pint sized) that had baby's breath, and baby food size jars with a little bit of gravel and a tealight. Everything sat on burlap table squares and runners.

Table Numbers

Picture
Bought cheap wood frames, then spray painted them a cinnamon color, and sanded down the edges for a more rustic look. Glue wood numbers onto the corners, and then framed our engagement pics.
Total for 13 numbers (including spray paint & 4x6 prints) = about $25.

Cake Topper

Picture
Found a wood letter "K" and primitive shaped heart, painted them cinnamon and chocolate brown, and then sanded down the edges.
Total cost (already had paint) = about $2!

Toasting Flutes

Picture
Hot glued hydrangea, pearls & ribbon.
Cost for 4 flutes - including 1 for BM & 1 for MOH = $3!!
(Flutes were brand new still in a box at a yard sale & everything else was left over from other projects)

Dollar Dance Bag

Picture
I found this adorable little brown satin pouch on ebay. All I did to jazz it up was add some coordinating ribbon!

Bride & Groom Signs

Picture
Found these signs from the "Brides" line at Michaels on clearance! All I did was run them through the printer and switch out the ribbon.
