Amanda's DIY Bio

The Look - (Non-DIY)

So the bio was strictly going to be DIY projects, but I just couldn't resist. My dress & the bridesmaids (all ordered but not in yet, so photoshopped to show the actual colors):

My dress is style 1645 by Alfred Angelo. It will be in ivory with a chocolate sash. The girls will be in a Da Vinci gown in cinnamon with a chocolate sash. Flower girl dress purchased from ebay seller butterflyxc.

My Hairband

FI thinks I should have more bling. But I think this is perfect for our rustic outdoor wedding. I found a plain brown headband, and hot glued hydrangea blossoms with pearls in the center.
Total = around $5!

Mrs. Undies

I was so excited about these I had to show FI because he was the only one around when I got done - I love the final product! I printed out the wording backwards, then on top of packaging tape laid out the iron-on rhinestones. I was in a hurry to try it, so I didn't get the mylar paper as most people suggest, but the packaging tape worked out ok for me in a pinch (you just have to be really careful because at a certain temperature it WILL melt and then it distorts your design - I almost had a disaster!). I had a tough time finding the right temp on the iron that would make the rhinestones stick, but not melt the tape. I would suggest investing in the mylar paper to anyone who wants to attempt this!

BM Jewelry

My first attempt at making jewelry. Freshwater pearl ribbon-tie necklace and bracelet set. Each bracelet has a different key-hole to tie in the theme.
Total = about $35 for three sets
